430,788. Cardboard boxes. TRIGGS, W. W., 57, Lincoln's Inn Fields, London.- (Kunstanstalt Etzold & Kiessling Akt.-Ges. ; Crimmitschau, Saxony, Germany) Oct. 23, 1934, No. 30379. [Class 18] A sliding lid for a cardboard box has on its underside an open channel or slit to receive a flap a formed on one or both sides of the body of the box. The lid consists of an outer part b reinforced by folding in the edges c, d and a smaller inner part e fixed by adhesive in such a way as to leave a slit or channel at each side. The part e may be spaced from the part b by turned-in flaps h, and may have projecting ribs k to locate the lid on the box. Projections m, Fig. 8, which lie in the box to limit the movement of the lid, and a tab n may also be provided.
