Abstract

430,395. Colour kinematography. SOC. LUMIERE, 82, Rue de Rivoli, Paris. Oct. 16, 1934, No. 29610. Convention date, Oct. 18, 1933. [Classes 97 (i) and 98 (ii)] Kinematographic films in natural colours are taken on a film larger than standard size and having an irregular three colour grain screen, and the film is printed by projection on to a like film of standard size using a colour corrector filter or filters. The ratio of the areas of the images may be four to one. The original film may be developed and reversed, or developed and fixed. As shown, the apparatus comprises a light source 10, a condenser 11, a rotating three-colour filter 5 performing several revolutions during the printing of each image, the large original film 2, a rotating shutter 12, a projection objective 13, and the copying film 3. Specifications 22988/04, [Class 98], and 429,239 are referred to.
