Abstract

429,809. Securing name - plates on pianos. KEMBLE, M., and JACOBS, M. V., 97, Carysfort Road, Stoke Newington, London. Sept. 19, 1934, No. 26958. [Class 3 (ii)] A name-plate 12 is secured to a piano by pins 14 which pass through holes 11 in the metal frame and are secured in holes 15 in the wooden casing of the piano. The pins, as shown, are secured in bosses 13, cast integral with the plate 12, by a press-fit. Alternatively, they may be secured in the bosses by screw-threaded engagement therewith.
