Pianoforte soundboards and framing.-The soundboard 2 with its framing 3 is secured to the cast iron frame 4 flanged at 12 by screws 10, and these are then secured to the casing 1 by glue and screws 6, 7, an intermediate wooden member 5, having a ledge 11 against which the flange 12 abuts, being first attached by screws 8, 9.
