Abstract

429,214. Bottles. BEATSON, CLARK, & CO., Ltd., Rotherham Glass Works, and TWEEDALE, E., Holcombe, Wickersley Road, both in Rotherham. March 6, 1934, No. 7157. [Class 125 (i)] A bottle, particularly although not essentially, for containing drugs to be dispensed in the form of drops has a lip 4, Fig. 1, well set back being arranged in a part 1 of the neck made smaller than and eccentric to the axis of the rest of the neck. A thread 3 may be provided for the attachment of a threaded cap 5. Various modifications of pouring lip are described. The internal construction of the neck may also be modified as in Fig. 8 in which a partition 7 may be provided to afford a channel for the flow of liquid. This partition may further be grooved.
