426,786. Inflating-valves. BENSON, J., 23, Etherington Road, Hull, and TUCK & CO., Ltd., 61, St. Mary Axe, London. Aug. 23, 1934, No. 23412/33. [Class 135] An inflating-valve for fishing buoys, air cushions and the like comprises a rubber member 21 substantially T-shaped in cross section, with a projecting bead 26 at the lower end. This member has a slit 24 at the lower end and is housed in a, preferably flexible, body member 34 which extends over the whole surface between the head and bead. The body member has a flange whereby it is secured to the air vessel. In the form shown the body member is recessed to receive the head but the head may be situated above the body member. In a modification the head is provided with a circumferential groove to receive the edge of the hole in the outer covering of the air vessel.
