Abstract
426,176. Baking &c. ovens. COX, J. B., King's Road, Tyseley, Birmingham. Aug. 30, 1934, No. 24962. [Class 51 (ii)] In an oven for baking, roasting and drying of the kind described in Specifications 191,865 and 312,016, [both in Class 51 (ii)], in which the heating gases ascend into, and are allowed to accumulate within, an oven casing having a low level exhaust e, dampers f are fitted between the sides of the baking-chamber b and the adjacent walls of the casing. The dampers may be of the hit-and-miss or hinged type, they can be operated from outside the oven to vary the distribution of heat within the casing.
