July 6, 1933, No. 19183. [Class 123 (iii)] [See also Group XXVI] A steam superheater used in a binary fluidpressure plant, comprises spirally-arranged tubes 32 connected to inlet and outlet headers 33, 34, and arranged in parallel through the shell. In a modification, the tubes pass through the shell to which they are welded, and are bent round at right angles and welded into pipe inlet and outlet headers. The tubes may be cylindrical or flattened.
