Abstract

422,716. Distribution boards and panels. BRITISH INSULATED CABLES, Ltd., Prescot, and NISBETT, G. H., Huyton Hey House, Huyton, both in Lancashire. Aug. 12, 1933, No. 22553. [Class 38 (v)] A connecting device located within a domestic fuse box for association with a meter 13 has outlet conductors 14, 15, 16 that are adjustable to suit various meters. The conductors 14, 15, 16 may be cranked or furnished with flexible sections and are located in various positions by a spacing member 12 that may be interchangeable with others or may have a variety of holes so that the position of the conductors 14, 15, 16 is determined. The conductors 14, 16 are supported in connectors 18, 31 which slide in recesses 29, 30 to increase the range of adjustment, the conductor 15 being supported in a fixed connector 17. The supply conductors 4 are connected through fuses 2 to the connectors 17, 31, the service conductors being secured to the connectors 17, 18 and lying in channels 21, 22 communicating with outlet openings 19, 20.
