Abstract

421,386. Card-stands &c. KAUFMANN, S. H., 20, Tottenham Mews, Tottenham Street, London. June 21, 1934, No. 18400. [Class 52 (v)] [See also Group XV] A support for photograph mounts, &c., particularly those comprising a pair of transparent sheets between which a photograph is held, comprises an endless or split metal frame 4, in the form of a ring or rectangle, which is carried by a base-member 5 having a pair of abutments between which the lower edge of the mount 2 is gripped, the frame having a pair of opposed members 14 adapted to grip the vertical edges of the mount, which is thus held in a plane inclined to that of the frame. The base-member 5 has upturned side-pieces 6, which are apertured to receive the frame-member 4, and the front end of the base-member has an upturned portion 5<a>, against which the lower edge of the mount 2 is pressed by a spring 7. The members 14, that engage the vertical edges of the mount are in the form of channel-shaped clips.
