Abstract

464,480. Stands. MANDER, Ltd., E., and MANDER, H. R. Oct. 17, 1935, Nos. 28659 /35 and 6636 /36. [Class 52 (v)] [Also in Group XV] A photograph &c. frame of the kind comprising two U- shaped members al, a2, Fig. 1 of channel-shape in cross-section, which are detachably secured together at the ends, is supported in a U-shaped stand, or, alternatively, by a U-shaped strut. The two parts of the frame are secured together by clips e, Fig. 5, carrying pivots d, which enter the ends of a U-shaped member b<1>, the engagement being maintained by the spring action of the member. The member has metal feet c, which are slotted to receive it, and are each held in place by a screw c<1>, Fig. 4, entering a threaded, cup c<2> fixed in the member b<1>. The stand may be replaced by a U-shaped strut g, Fig. 7, the movement of which is limited by a slotted link h, so that the strut may pass to the other side of the frame.
