544,273. Mirror frames &c. LAPPER F., and FEUER, G. June 7, 1941, No. 7234. [Class 11] [Also in Group XIV] A frame adapted normally to protect a mirror, photograph, &c. but movable when desired, into a position to serve as a stand or support, comprises a member a of wire &c. which normally surrounds the edges of a mirror b, and is pivoted to a folded piece of metal c, which grips one edge of the mirror. The pivot may be formed by the bent ends of the wire, or by a rod connecting the ends of a U-shaped member. The frame may thus be turned out of the plane of the mirror to serve as a support or as suspension means. Springs may be employed to provide friction at the pivot. The mirror may be of glass or metal, and may be replaced by a photograph covered by a glass sheet and having a backing.
