Abstract

675,015. Mirror and picture frames. NORTON, W. J. K. Dec. 27, 1950 [Dec. 23, 1949], No. 32948/49. Class 11. A mount or frame, made from thin gauge metal, has a shaped extension at one end which is bent over backwards and continues as a tapered tongue to form a spring clip whereby the mount may be attached to a book cover or other support. As shown, the mount A is provided on three sides with rims B which hold a mirror C and is extended to form a neck D which is bent backwards forming a loop F and tongue G which are ribbed at J, K and form a spring clip. In modifications the spring clip is formed at one side of the mount and may be formed of heavier gauge metal and secured to the mount by riveting.
