[Class 61 (ii)] A hand lifting-implement comprises flat wooden &c. jaw members b, c, the latter passing through a slot b<2> in the member b and pivoted on nails or pins d. The jaws c<2>, b<3> are leather faced or provided with gripping teeth g. Member b has a part b<5> adapted to be held against the palm of the hand and the shorter member c has a loop c<3> and is adapted to be actuated by the thumb or finger. Chamfering of the member b at f enables the parts to lie flat when closed.
