Abstract

419,864. Bottle crates. GOLDENBERG, L., Vraincourt, Haute-Marne, France. May 3, 1934, No. 13370. [Class 18.] In a bottle crate built up from sheet-metal parts and provided with a cupped bottom and a horizontal partition, the various parts are formed with holes 2 and are united by beading the edges of contiguous holes, or alternatively the edges of the holes may be connected together by autogenous welding, riveting &c. The bottom consists of two perforated sheets 4, 5 united by means of holes 7, and cups 6 are held in position by flanges 6<a>, Fig. 4, placed between the two sheets. The cups are spaced above the lower rim of the crate and their bases are perforated. The partition 9 has flanged holes 9<a> to receive the bottles and smaller flanged holes 9<b> for rigidity. The corners of the crate are flattened and hand holes 3 are provided in the ends.
