419,859. Wearing - apparel. STADIUM UNDERWEAR CO., Inc., 1501, Guildford Avenue, Baltimore, U.S.A.- (Assignees of Trageser, C. F. ; 1501, Guildford Avenue, Baltimore, U.S.A.) April 3, 1934, No. 10022. Convention date, Dec. 29, 1933. [Class 141.] The scye 13 of a sleeved garment is interrupted by a gusset 3 formed into vertical pleats 21, normally concealed inside the garment. The gusset may extend to the bottom of the garment, and the ends of the opening are strengthened by stitching 251. The gusset is preferably formed from a separate piece of material, or of several pieces seamed together, but may be formed integrally with a back or front section of the garment. Stitches through the side seam and pleated portion of the bottom of the gusset maintain the shape of the pleats. The gusset may be made of fabric of an elastic nature.
