418,888. Locking nuts. GIOVANOLA, P., Stresa, Novara, Italy. Feb. 14, 1934, No. 4955. Convention date, Feb. 15, 1933. [Class 89 (i).] The crest of the threads of the bolt 1 is formed with a conical helical surface 41 which is engaged by the wedge pin 3 carried by the nut. In a modification the conical surface is formed in the trough of the threads, and in a further modification a separate helical surface is formed on each turn of the thread.
