Abstract

399,985. Bolts and nuts. DARDELET THREADLOCK CORPORATION, 120, Broadway, New York, U.S.A. Oct. 11, 1932, No. 28324. Convention date, Sept. 10. [Class 89 (i).] For use with bolts having corrugated or fluted shanks, nuts are provided which have a recess at the base large enough to clear flutings and are also provided with the closed cap end. The bolt is provided with parallel flutings 13 stopping short of the head 11 so as to form a shoulder 14 and has a self-locking thread 10 adapted to be engaged by a nut 15 which has an enlarged recess 17 in its base and an end cap or closure 16.
