[Class 40 (iv).] Microphones or telephone or like receivers are disinfected by a device adapted to be fitted between the body of the microphone or receiver and the cover thereof and comprising a member A having two concentric rings B, C forming an annular chamber adapted to contain a disinfecting substance, the inner wall C being perforated at D and the chamber being closed by the mouthpiece or ear cap of the microphone or receiver. The Figure shows the invention applied to the microphone and receiver of a telephone handset. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 1493/09, 2215/13, and 157,614, [all in Class 40 (iv)].
