[Class 87 (i).] Roofing plates made of asbestos-cement or other material are made with a flat part 2b tangential to a corrugated part 2<a> which is slightly wider than the flat part by the width of one corrugation. The plates are laid with the corrugated part overlying the flat part and one corrugation of an adjacent plate. The edge 2d is curved upwards to abut against the underside of a corrugation on the next plate to deflect water and snow.
