Roofing.-Joint-making pieces for filling the spaces between the ends of asbestos-cement roofing sheets 4 and adjacent surfaces, such as ridges and eaves, consist of a flat casing 1 and a corrugated or otherwise shaped casing 2 both made of asbestos-cement, and a filling 3 of waterproof composition, such as sawdust, mixed with a magnesite binder or cement. The casing 1 or 2 may be extended at the eaves to form a flashing. The joint-pieces are secured by bolts 5 or screws 8.
