Void [Abridged as open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Aug. 14, 1933]. [Classes 69 (i) and 135.] Means for stopping a liquidmeter when a predetermined quantity has passed through, comprises a valve which closes when a lever is allowed to move by wheels being in such a position that projections on the lever can enter recesses in the wheels. The wheels are geared to the meter spindle 11 in such a manner that the wheel 12 revolves much faster than the wheel 7 ; the latter forms one half of a friction clutch, the other half 9 being keyed on the shaft 10. When the mechanism is to be set, the member 7 is disengaged by axial movement and turned until a pin 5 is opposite one of a series of notches in a fixed member 1 ; is then returned to bring the members 7, 9 into engagement.
