414,560. Wireless signalling. TELEFONAKTIEBOLAGET L. M. ERICSSON, 33, Kungsgatan, Stockholm. Nov. 27, 1933, No. 33154. Convention date, July 7. [Class 40 (v).] Wireless equipment is designed for the localized distribution of a speech and simultaneous translations in different languages to the members, say of an international congress. The direct speech is picked up by a microphone M4 and relayed by loud-speakers L. Corresponding translations are spoken into microphones M1-M3 and radiated on different carrier waves from a loop aerial As, which surrounds the conference room and may be crossed in the middle to ensure uniform field-strength. The messages are picked up by small loop aerial Ae, Fig. 3, and a portable crystal and headphone set E, H, carried by each listener. The receiver comprises a switch U, Fig. 4, for selecting the desired carrier-wave.
