Abstract

411,565. Fencing. MARTIN, W. A., 17, Mill Road, Merton, London, and STENNING & SON, Ltd., J., 136, London Road, East Grinstead, Sussex. Dec. 30, 1932, No. 36867. [Class 45.] The ends of the arris rails 6 of wooden fencing are secured to notched vertical end members 4, Fig. 7, and the end members are bolted to the web 13 of a tapering T- section concrete post 2. The end members 4 are recessed at 8, Fig. 9, near their lower ends, the recesses in conjunction with the inside face of the flanges of the posts serving to accommodate the gravel boards 10 which may be formed of concrete. The posts may be of the same dimensions at their bases as bricks whereby they can be let into a wall.
