Abstract

411,343. Machinery beds. GREEN, H. C., 4, Lloyd's Avenue, London. Sept. 22, 1933, No. 26241. [Class 80 (iv).] A resilient support for machines includes a base member A formed with laterally extending flanges F having arched or wide V-shaped lower surfaces, a cover G having secured thereto arched or wide V- shaped abutments I or metal strips sprung into position, and pads K of resilient material, e.g. felt or cork, between the flanges and abutments. In one form, the resilient support includes a helical spring C held between an adjustable abutment H and an abutment E resting on a resilient pad D in the base member A which is provided with a resilient pad B. The abutments may be clamped to the cover by a single centrally disposed bolt and additional resilient pads C<1> may be provided.
