Abstract

411,238. Folding-chairs. SOUTH, F. C., Teigngrace, School Lane, Addlestone, Surrey. Feb. 23, 1933, No. 5546. [Class 52 (ii).] A folding-chair comprises two frames 1, 2, pivoted at 9, and a rectangular back rest frame 3, pivoted to the upper end of the frame 1, and of such size that the frames 1 and 2 may be folded completely therein. The free lower end of the frame 3 carries a transverse bar 4 which engages in notches 5 on the frame 2 in erected position. The lower ends 10 of the members of the frame 2 are tapered as shown and abut against the transverse member 4 to prevent the frame being unfolded in the wrong direction.
