[Class 36.] To reduce magnetic cross talk between the twin core leads of a communication cable, some or all of the twin core leads are formed as spiral quads, each of which has its diagonally opposite conductors connected directly in parallel, so that the four conductors constitute one transmission channel only. Electrostatic cross talk between the twin cores may be prevented by conductive screens.
