Abstract
410,710. Gates ; doors ; shutters. POTTER RAX GATE CO., Ltd., Wilton Works, Shepperton Road, London, and RAXWORTHY, R. E., Fairholme Farm, Markbeech, Kent. Dec. 22, 1933, No. 36132. [Class 45.] In a collapsable gate, door, or shutter, wherein panels B are secured along one vertical edge to the pickets A, the free vertical edges of the panels are rolled to give the necessary rigidity to the panels. Bosses C, Fig. 2, project from the panels at the extreme top and bottom of the rolled edge to give the necessary clearance between adjacent panels, or, as in Fig. 3, the top and bottom edges of the panels are folded over inwardly. The rear vertical edges are bent inwardly and are fixed to the sides of the pickets. The lower track J is shaped as shown in Fig. 7 so that any dirt falls into the bottom portion out of contact with the pickets from which it may be removed into a box-like portion at one end of the track.
