[Class 141.] An abdominal belt for positioning ptosed organs, comprises a front portion 1 positioned against the abdominal wall, upper retaining side sections 5 the curved lower edges of which are located over the iliac crest and follow the anterior superior spine, and lower side sections 7 having curved upper edges secured to the curved edge 8 of the upper side sections 5, the curvatures of the meeting edges differing so as to provide, when joined, hood-like portions to relieve pressure over the iliac crests. The belt further comprises rear sections 11, 12, which are connected to the upper side portions 5 above the iliac crest by means of adjustable straps 20, and to the front portion 1 below the iliac crest by means of adjustable straps 16 connected through inexten. sible sections 10 superimposed over the lower side sections 7.
