Abstract
408,872. Transfer paper. NAUMANN, K., and NESTLER, E., (trading as NAUMANN UMDRUCKPAPIERFABRIK. R.), 45, I Schumann Strasse, Dresden, Germany. Sept. 18, 1933, No. 25803. Convention date, April 5. [Class 96.] Transfer paper for reproducing copies from an original on lithographic stone &c. on to further stones or zinc plates is marked on its rear surface to indicate the general direction of the fibres so that the paper may be pulled from the original in that direction and thus minimize stretching. The marking may comprise a series of lines &c. e.g. printed, lightly painted, watermarked &c. so that the surface of the paper remains smooth, and can be recognized even when using only small pieces of paper.
