407,412. Adjusting wireless apparatus. ALLDRIDGE, S. W. A., 24, Stokewood Road, Bournemouth. Sept. 27, 1932, Nos. 26743/32 and 18031 /33. [Class 37.] A tuning-control member selectively cooperates with stops to set the tuning element and comprises an arm which operates the shaft of the tuning element and engages with one or other of the stops. In one construction, Fig. 4, an arm 9 is pivotally mounted on a sleeve 6 connected with the condenser spindle and is rotatable in the space between a cover-plate 12 and stationary drum 3. The drum has inclined slots 10 along which the arm 9 can slide and engage the heads of adjustable screw stops 16. The part 18 of the arm 9 may be provided with an aperture to permit adjustment of the stops by a screwdriver. In another construction, Fig. 7, series of vertical and horizontal screw stops 25, 25<a> are selectively engaged by a stop on a sleeve 21 operatively connected with the control lever 20, the control shaft 19 being of square or like cross-section.
