Abstract

406,639. Windscreen-cleaners. BOSCH AKT.-GES., R., 4, Militõrstrasse, Stuttgart, Germany. May 25, 1932, No. 14815. Void [Abridged as open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, July 4, 1932]. [Class 138 (i).] The wiper arm is opcratively connected to the shaft of the driving motor by detent means whereby the arm may be disengaged by being turned manually relatively to the shaft. In the construction shown, the wiper arm 9 is secured to a holder 8 which is mounted on a sleeve 6 secured to the motor shaft and is connected to a clutch disc 7 by a lug 12. The disc is formed with two teeth 13 adapted to engage in notches formed on the sleeve 6. A spring 10 presses the disc and sleeve into engagement. The disc 7 may be omitted, the teeth 13 being formed on the holder 8.
