406,330. Collapsable containers. BELSEY, S., 36, Buckingham Gate, and CASSIN, P., 19, Eastcheap, both in London. July 25, 1932, No. 20942. [Class 11.] The integral sealing boss covering the extrusion aperture in the neck of a collapsable container is encountered by and partially or completely severed from the neck by a pivoted closure. As shown, the closure d is provided with a downturned lug d<2>, which limits its swinging movement, and a claw lug d<1> which, when the boss e has been severed by the cutting edge d3 of the closure, engages under a projection c<1> on the neck. To prevent accidental removal of the boss it is thickened, as at e<1>, so that before the edge d3 has reached the aperture f a shoulder g of the closure abuts against the boss, whereby a much greater effort must be applied to continue the cutting action.
