Abstract
404,875. Hooks. SHAILER, F. G., 56, Margaret Street, Sydney, Australia. July 3, 1933, No. 18808. Convention date, July 25, 1932. [Class 89 (ii).] A hook comprises oppositely disposed hook members pivotted on a pin 10 and pressed together by a spring 12. Relative rotation between the hooks is prevented by lugs and recesses on their engaging faces round the pivot pin. The load is engaged by forcing it between the inclined faces 18 of the hooks.
