Abstract

460,218. Hooks. HUBER, W. July 23, 1935, No. 20901. Convention date, Aug. 17, 1934. [Class 89 (ii)] The transverse chains 12, 13 for a vehicle wheel are connected to the annularly extending side chain 14 by a hook plate 11, the hooks 9, 10 and 11 of which are all closed by a pivoting plate 16. The pivot of the plate is made very tight to prevent accidental motion, but the plate is turned when desired by inserting a key in the holes 7. In a modification, the hooks are closed by sliding rubber rings. In a further modification, four hooks are closed by one notched circular pivoted plate.
