Abstract

404,700. Radiators for motor vehicles. HANNING, G. H., Little Melton Vicarage, Norwich. July 21, 1932, No. 20634. [Class 29.] A muff adapted to cover the core of the radiator is secured in position by press buttons engaging studs 6 carried by a bar 1 secured to the radiator by bolts 4. In a modification, two bars arranged at the sides of the core are provided, while in another arrangement the bar is replaced by a frame 9, Fig. 4. The muff may consist of two sections 14, 15, Fig. 7, formed of fabric reinforced by steel strips 17. In a modification, the upper part of the muff may be folded back over the lower part.
