Abstract
404,542. Trolly poles for electric vehicles. BRECKNELL, WILLIS, & CO., Ltd., and WILLIS, A. M., 59, Victoria Street, Bristol. June 15, 1933, No. 17133. [Class 104 (iii).] Means for arresting the upward swing of a trolly pole after de-wiring comprises a compressible strut 7 arranged above and substantially parallel to the pole, one end being pivoted to the rotary base 5, while the other end passes freely through a lug 10 on the pole and is surrounded by a spring 11 abutting at one end on a washer 12 and at the other on a sleeve 15 screw-threaded on the rod 7 for the purpose of adjusting the compression of the spring.
