Abstract
404,250. Hatching-appliances. CHURCH, G. T., Curfew Poultry Farm, Gogmore, Chertsey, Surrey. June 22, 1933, No. 30402. Divided on 404,000. [Class 5 (ii).] In an incubator of the type comprising a water tray or trays 1 for humidifying the air within the incubator, the said tray or trays being supplied with water through a controlled pipe line 6 by means of an air locked storage tank 3, the pipe line 6 has an open ended extension 7 which extends to a point above the normal water level in the tray or trays and preferably to a point above the normal water level in the tank 3. The pipe line 6 is connected to the tank 3 by a pipe 4 comprising the cock 5 controlling the pipe line. One of the trays may be adjustable relatively to a heater, such tray being connected to the pipe line 6 by a flexible pipe. The general construction of the incubator is described in Specification 404,000.
