March 31, 1933, Nos. 9749, 9750, and 9751. Convention dates, April 7, 1932, May 10, 1932, and July 16, 1932. [Class 79 (v).] In a device for attachment to the wheels or stub-axles of a motor vehicle for the purpose of guiding the vehicle on a railway track, the guiding-means associated with each wheel is adapted to bear in sliding or rolling contact with the rail both in front of and to the rear of the wheel, and forms a complete unit in itself, i.e. is unconnected with the guiding device for the wheel at the other end of the axle. The guiding devices 35 may be associated with a motor vehicle in which both the front and rear wheels are steered, e.g. as in the four-axle vehicle illustrated in Fig. 10, the steering mechanism 38, 39, 40 being capable of disconnection when the vehicle runs on rails.
