[Classes 79 (v), 136 (i), and 136 (iii).] The steering- wheel 11 of a tricycle or like vehicle is mounted by ball bearings on a drum 4, which is adapted to oscillate for steering purposes on a vertical spindle 3 supported in a transverse member 2 carried by leaf springs 1 from the longitudinal frame members of the vehicle, the steering movements being transmitted to the drum 4 by means of a forked member 5 universally jointed at 6 to a rod 7 which is universally jointed to an arm 8 on a steering-stem 9 fitted with a hand-wheel 10.
