Abstract
402,420. Current and pressure meters. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO., Ltd., Magnet House, Kingsway, London, TURNER, H. C., and GRANT, J., Peel Works, Silk Street, Salford, Manchester. March 22, 1932, No. 8562. [Class 37.] Resistances employed in measuring-instruments, for example, the shunt resistances 7, 8, are permanently connected between terminal elements 4 by means of pins 5 extending from the terminals, the final adjustment of the resistance values being made by varying the points of connection on the pins. The adjustment can be effected by sliding the ends of the wire along the pins whilst the soldered joint remains fluid.
