[Classes 39 (iii) and 126.] The front or rear supports of an electric fire are formed by pivoted legs c which are drawn towards the other supports b by springs g of such strength that they hold the legs in any position to which they are brought by downward pressure on the stove, such pressure exerting a wedging action tending to spread the legs and so allowing the stove to be set in a more or less tilted position.
