399,117. Abrading-tools. BECKMANN GES., T., Ronsdorf, Wuppertal, Germany. April 18, 1933, No. 11342. Convention date, April 25, 1932. [Class 60.] In device for removing superfluous hair from the body, comprising a carrier provided with an abrasive surface adapted to be rubbed over the skin, the carrier 1 with its abrasive layer, and a lining 2 therefor if used, are provided with apertures 4 for the escape of the abraded material. The abrasive may consist of powdered glass or pumice, the carrier 1 of paper or cardboard, and the lining 2 of artificial leather, buckskin or velvet paper. As shown, the device is provided with two abrasive surfaces a, b and is adapted to be slipped over the fingers, the two carriers being either integrally connected at one or both ends or provided with connecting straps 3.
