Abstract
398,572. Suspending curtains. JOHNSON, F. A. L., Pinfold House, Hampton Lane, Solihull, Warwickshire. April 19, 1932, Nos. 11120/32 and 2347/33. [Class 52 (v).] Curtain rails of L, inverted T, or like section having a vertically disposed web 7a parallel with the faces of the rollers 8 have the web formed with a projecting surface 7b, Fig. 2, or a recess 7d, Fig. 4, so that the area which can contact with the presented face of a roller is less than the area of the face, to minimize friction and the defacing or scoring of the web. The rib 7b is located approximately at the level of the centres of the rollers while the recess 7d is of a depth slightly less than the diameter of the rollers. The usual grooves 7e are provided for engagement with attachment brackets.
