Abstract
397,986. Drinking-appliances for animals. TOPHAM & SNUSHALL, Ltd. and HIND, J. M., 26, Oxford Street, Birmingham. May 26, 1932, No. 14912. [Class 5 (ii).] A drinking-appliance for birds comprises a reservoir a, in the shape of a bucket but having its top closed and its bottom open, adapted to fit into a shallow circular tray b and to be clamped thereto by a rod a4, which extends across the mouth of the reservoir, engaging under oppositely directed lugs b<1> projecting from the tray. The assembled appliance can be carried by a handle a<1> and a second handle a<6> that can be folded into the reservoir to and from the tray when filling. The usual outlet aperture a<8> is provided near the open bottom of the reservoir. The central part b2 of the tray is raised to co-operate with the bottom of the reservoir.
