Abstract
397,536. Transformers; binding-posts. PYE RADIO, Ltd., Radio Works, and DALGLEISH, J. W., 27, Haig Road, and ROOT, E..V., 176, Milton Road, all in Cambridge. Feb. 19, 1932, No. 4973. [Class 38 (ii).] In transformers, particularlv those used as intervalve couplings in wireless receivers, the end cheeks 6 of the winding spools have mounted thereon sheet metal members 8 provided with terminal tags 8a and projections 8b, 8c adapted to be bent over and passed through holes or slots in the end cheeks for direct connection to the wire of the winding. The hub 5 of the spool has a groove 9 of dovetail section formed therein to accommodate the projection 8b for connection to the inner end of the winding, and the periphery of the cheek of the spool is slotted at 10 to accommodate the projection 8c for connection to the outer end of the winding.
