[Class 56.] Relates to the method of making sheet glass in which molten glass is poured from a pot into the pass between the rollers of a double-roll machine having its rollers 1, 2 arranged at different levels. According to the invention, the pot is tilted, when pouring the glass, about an axis which is inclined to the axes of the rollers 1, 2, and at the same time, the pot is moved parallel with the rollers in order to spread the glass.
