[Class 7 (ii).] In twin-cylinder engines having a common combustion chamber 3, the cylinder 1 contains a series of admission ports 4 and the cylinder 2, superposed series of exhaust and admission ports 6, 5, preferably out of alignment with each other. A passage 7 connects the cylinders.
