Abstract
396,984. Automatically taking-up conductors. WALDAU, E. A., 4, Bergslagsgatan, Hedemora, Sweden. Nov. 23, 1932, No. 33129. Convention date, Nov. 7. [Class 36.] Flexible leads for supplying electricity to electric irons, cooking-apparatus, &c. are supported from the ceiling by a coiled spring 5, a cord 9 carried by the spring being attached to the flex at various points 16 and to the iron at 14. The flex is fastened to the cord so as to leave free portions as at 17, 19. The spring may be hung by a looped wire 3 extended through the coil and terminating in a ring 6 threaded by a connecting cord 7 and serving also to facilitate manipulation of the suspension.
