Abstract

355,104. Garment hangers. RISCH, M. L., 7, Stiftsplatz, Landau, Palatinate, Germany. Oct. 23, 1930, No. 31863. Convention date, Oct. 23, 1929. [Class 52 (v).] A garment hanger consists of a resilient bar which, when required for use, is bent or arched by means of an adjustable cord. As shown, the bar 1 is of rattan or malacca cane. It has an eye 2 at one end and a hook 3 at the other. The cord 4 is secured to the eye and has several loops 5 for engaging the hook. The bar is provided with a hook 8 and adjustable garment clips 9. In a modification, the bar is of wire, rendered resilient by a central coil. In another modification, the bar is of flexible metallic tubing.
